Here is a great idea for those that don’t know much about the game of hockey and want to be “in the know” – Vegas Golden Knights University. The Knights organization wants to help their fans with an educational program for new hockey fans.
Misha Donskov, Golden Knights team director of operations, stated “It’s important for us to give back to the community and continue to educate our fan about the game of hockey and about the Golden Knights.” The program is five sessions long.
VGK University will take place on Vegas Golden Knights game days, and feature VGK University Sessions including hockey basics, offensive and defensive strategies, special teams and coaching preparation. All sessions will be led by Vegas Golden Knights Senior Vice President Murray Craven and Misha Donskov in a personal environment. All sessions will be tailored to fans with beginner-level knowledge of hockey and capped at a 50-person capacity. Attendees must be 21 years or older to participate.
Also VGK University will have optional skates at T-Mobile Arena before the VGK University Sessions, allowing attendees to be among the first fans to skate at the arena. Skates will be available to rent beforehand at City National Arena. Participants also receive a ticket to the respective Golden Knights game with their VGK University package.
The five-game pack costs $495, or $250 for full season ticket members and suite holders and begins November 19th. Please note the $250 price does not include a game ticket. A portion of every package will be donated to the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation. Click here for more information
