October 4, First Friday – Hunt for unique treasures, chow down on tasty food, and enjoy live music and art at this monthly festival of creativity in the Arts District. The First Friday Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to supporting local arts and culture.

October 4–5, Henderson Hot Rod Days – Like all types of cars? Take the family to see classic, custom, and muscle cars plus with trucks, hot rods, and one-of-a-kind vehicles. October 5, OktoberFest Beer Festival & Live Entertainment – Dust off those lederhosen and dirndls and celebrate OktoberFest! October 5–6, Art in the Park – This is one of the largest outdoor juried art festivals in the Southwest, which is also the largest fundraiser for the Boulder City Hospital Foundation. The event is free. Food vendors are also on hand. October 11–12, Las Vegas Pride – Join in the celebration of diversity and PRIDE in the Las Vegas LGBT community, with events including the free-to-attend Night Parade on Saturday and the Family Festival on Sunday.
